Here's Gavotte, so far.
Green blob FTW! Miles and miles of stockinette is going pretty quickly, and is actually really fun right now. I'm in a stockinette frame of mind, and everything I want to make lately is really smooth, simple, and unpatterned. For example, Ladies' Classic Raglan Pullover by Jane Richmond is on my list for this winter, as is the Mediumweight Pullover by Hannah Fettig. Stockinette pullovers: I need them in my life! Given that I bought the yarn for Gavotte in January/February and have only started knitting it in September, I may not get to either of these other sweaters before 2013 (or 2014!). Ah well. Those are my current plans, subject to change on my whim.

Very interesting pattern and lovely color! I've just finished a stockinette stitch sweater (my version of Elfe) and while currently struggling with the cabled lace yoke of my new sweater, I just wish it was over and I was on the simple stockinette body already :)

ReplyDeleteOf the three patterns, I love the Gavotte the best, so I'm looking forward to seeing how it works up. I love stockinette - it gets boo-hooed too much, our wonderful knitting workhorse stitch. :)

ReplyDeletelookin good! I'm a farily new knitter and am still amazed at how the back of knit is purl. and when you knit in the roudn you get stockinette, its like magic!!

ReplyDeleteI've had Gavotte in my library since November last year, and haven't even thought to buy yarn for it, so you're doing better than I am! I really must stop stashing patterns... :P
